Jenie is petite with lovely dark hair and dimples. Through Tina, her interpreter in sign, I learned that she has lived in Winnipeg all her life. Regarding Equal Opportunities West she says, “My social worker found this place and it meshed well for me on many levels.” 

Jenie is passionate about anything that has to do with clothes and the fashion industry, and her dream would be to find employment in that field. Jenie enjoys the many aspects that Equal Opportunities West has to offer. She loves to tease the staff, hang out with her friends there, and give lots of hugs. She has made many friends and they have helped broaden her world and brought her joy. 

She enjoys swimming with them and going for walks in the park. Her favourite type movies are comedies, romance, and horror flicks. Her favourite is the comedy, Grown Men.
